What a rare beauty. I couldn't pass on the opportunity to practice on an outstanding low mileage example of a 2nd generation Dakota in great shape, other than a botched Maaco paint job. There was overspray on nearly every panel, presenting a challenge I just had to get my hands on. More to follow - but in the meantime, enjoy the photos of this rare beast. No stone was left when bringing the Dakota up to date mechanically, and I achieved an approximate 80% improvement in the paintwork after a day at the DRIVEN spa. This Dakota was placed with a happy new caretaker in the Shenandoah Valley.
